Japan Ski Trips

Thanks to host of recent ski and snowboard films showcasing Japan's deep snow conditions, the Land of the Rising Sun has become one of the most sought-after ski destinations. Sea-effect snow, caused by cold winds from Siberia meeting the Sea of Japan, makes for consistent, snorkel-worthy conditions. Japan ski resorts receive anywhere from 350 to to 600 inches, but there have been some winters where 1,200-plus-inches of snow have been recorded
